Richmond Cakery - Patisserie

Today on the way home from a short-business trip, we stopped by at a pastry shop in Pantai Indah Kapuk, precisely in the area "Elang Laut", named Richmond Cakery. Previously we've passed this cake shop for a few times, but today we have to resolve our curiosity to go in and try the cakes/pastries sold at this store.

From the outside, this store seems about to carry the retro and classic style. It is seen from the awning in front of the shop, inscriptions and decorations in store windows. Entering the store, the impression was increasingly felt with a choice of table and chairs and sofa that are tastefully furnished and comfortable. Indoor decorations also reinforce the impression of retro and classic style the owner wanted to display to all the customers.

Impatiently, we went directly to the cake display and saw the wide selection of cakes available. Quite a lot of options, ranging from cake, either in the form of slices or full, cupcakes, and also pasta.

Our choice finally fell on two types of cakes, namely: Ovomaltine and Butter Peanut Nutella as they seem very tempting. And in a fairly hot day and stress because of the journey that completely jammed, eat a sweet cake wrapped in chocolate could be a solace.

Not long after, the cakes were presented in front of us. The appearance of the cake is pretty good and interesting, it is very clear that the cakes prepared by the hands of skilled and professional. We soon tasted the pastries.

 Butter Peanut Nutella

From the first bite we could tell that the cakes were made using premium ingredients, sweetness felt right, and no bitterness in the mouth. But I think the taste of the peanut butter in Butter Peanut Nutella, was not strong enough. In general we are quite satisfied with the quality provided.

The cakery also provide selections of coffee and tea, both local and international.
