Safari Cisarua Bogor (part 1)

Hi everyone...greetings from Indonesia!!

I was encouraged by my wife to write a blog about our travel adventures and food journey as memories for the future, where we can look back and share it with our grandchildren, or can be as references for anyone who loves to travel just like us. I also have a Trip Advisor account and posted quite a lot of reviews about hotels, tourists attraction and restaurant. It has a very good response and in fact I am on the top 2% of Jakarta reviewers. Therefore, my wife suggested strongly that we should write a travel blog. My wife is a crafter and you can see her works and tutorials on her blog here.

I will be posting about our trip to Safari Bogor as my first post. It is a very recommended family outing. When we hear the word Safari, our brain tends to associate it with hot humid weather, but not here at Cisarua Bogor. The weather is just at a perfect temperature our body would love. It is around 20-24 degrees celsius. The tickets are super reasonable, too.
  • IDR 150,000@adult
  • IDR 140,000@ children age 1-5
  • IDR 25,000@car
There are different rates for international tourists, IDR 300,000@adult and IDR 250,000@children age 1-5. For more details of ticketing, you can check on Safari website

This is the first part of our trip to Safari. All comments are purely just my personal opinion. Hope you enjoy!

That's the end of our part 1 Safari journey with these sweet animals. Wild animals journey coming soon on the next post, Safari Journey part II. Watch out!

Suggestion :
  • Bring or buy carrots and bananas before you enter the Safari Park so you and your children will experience the excitement of feeding animals live!!
  • Bring spare battery for your camera/phone, because you will want to snap anything you see there.

Warning :
  • SALIVA all over your windows while they are requesting for food lol
  • The urge of coming back again soon in the near future
See ya..have fun!
